Premier League giants Arsenal have now completed the signing of highly talented French starlet Ismael Bennacer, as the youngster has signed a contract with the Gunners recently. Reports confirmed that the 17-year-old star was being chased by both the Gunners and former champions of England Manchester City as well, but images have now surfaced confirming that he will be moving to the Emirates.
The former Arles-Avignon youngster was believed to be given the chance to join Patrick Vieira’s elite development squad at City and a deal was nearly done to bring him to Manchester some time ago.
However, fortunes favoured the north London side who took control of things immediately and were able to hijack the deal and Bennacer is now an Arsenal player.
Arsene Wenger’s side will pay just £150,000 in compensation for the young and talented midfielder, which is not really a big sum for a player who is surely one for the future.
