Chelsea’s win over Maccabi Tel Aviv did put them in prime position to qualify. Though the English Champions are second in the group behind Porto but level on points, they host the Portuguese club in the final match day and they know a draw would be enough to see them through but a win for Porto would put the Portuguese team through and that would allow Dynamo Kiev a chance of making it through.
The Ukrainian team would have to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv and if the game at Stamford Bridge ends as a draw, it will be Kiev and Chelsea making it through with Porto ending in the Europa League.
