Fulham opened their account in the Premier League with an entertaining 4-2 win against Burnley at a rainy Craven Cottage. Jean Michael Seri scored a sumptuous goal to give Slavisa Jokanovic’s men a perfect start, however, Jeff Hendrick pulled things back very soon.
Alexandar Mitrovic’s brace in a space of three minutes late in the first-half ensured Fulham had a sizable lead to hold on to. But Burnley were not to back down as James Tarkowski scored before the interval to keep the game interesting.
At last, Andre Schurrle scored the eventual winner to give the Cottagers their first win back in the English top-flight.
Here’s how the Fulham players were rated against Burnley:

Scored a momentous goal and put in a good shift in terms of making tackles and covering the space.
Produced a lovely chip assist for Mitrovic but he wasn’t at his best in the first-half. He did improve in the second but Cairney limped off due to an injury later.
A slow start on his debut but provided a good assist for Mitrovic. Grew into the game and became a constant danger in the second half.
A fantastic display from the Serb, capped off by two well-taken goals. He held the ball well to allow the runners to join in.
A constant threat to the Burnley defence by cutting inside from the left. Scored a goal which was deserving of his performance.
