Alex Teixeira’s move to Liverpool seemed to nearly done in the winter transfer window, however, this never occurred as Teixeira moved to Jiangsu Suning as Shakhtar Donetsk did not agree with the amount Liverpool was offering for the player.
Shakhtar Donetsk were not willing to sell the player to Liverpool as the Reds offered 30m Euros which was low for them to accept, however, Chinese side Jiangsu Suning offered 50m Euros for the player. Teixeira made a decision to move to China as he wanted a move out of Shakhtar and play in a new place. But his dream to play in the Premier League stayed a dream.
According to Josef De Souza, Teixeira still holds a dream to play at the Premier League and maybe under Liverpool. However, with him being in China he may as well be prepared for a hard way back into Premier League as Premier League scouts are hardly sent to China.
