Breaking: Ligue1 Outfit’s Manager Names Arsenal And Liverpool’s Summer Target’s Price

Liverpool are still looking to add more strikers to their squad, with Brendan Rodgers’ side being quite poor in front of goal at times, during last season. The Reds ended yet another trophy less season at fifth place in the Premier League table, meaning that the Merseyside club failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Due to this, the Kop boss is trying to add more attackers to his squad, with the view of strengthening his forward line. One striker who has been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal for nearly a year now is French international Alexandre Lacazette, who currently plays for Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.

Now, in an interview for L’Equipe, the Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said that he will not let his star striker Alexandre Lacazette leave cheaply but admits an offer of £35m would have to be considered if big spending clubs came calling.

However, reports from BBC and other English media suggests that Liverpool are close to landing Aston Villa target man Christian Benteke after activating his £32.5m release clause. Benteke is yet to agree personal terms with the Reds and is subject to a medical later this week.
