According to reports, former German international Marko Marin, who failed to make an impact at Chelsea is now wanted by Augsburg on loan. The 26-year old attacking midfielder has been on loan at several clubs in recent seasons, as he failed to earn a regular place in the starting eleven at Stamford Bridge. Now, it seems that the two clubs have reached an agreement for left-back Abdul Baba Rahman as well, but an injury for the Bundesliga side’s new signing Piotr Trochowski, in turn, has prompted the Germans to ask about Marin.
The winger moved to west London from Weder Bremen in 2012, but could never make a major impact with the Blues and was sent out on loan to clubs like Sevilla, Fiorentina and Anderlecht previously.
The German also has 16 caps for the national side and could be set to return to his native country, as he is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the upcoming season at Chelsea.
