The superstar moved to north London for a second spell in 2013 and signed a three-year contract after being released by Serie A outfit AC Milan.
The Frenchman has started a total of 46 games for the Gunners in the last couple of seasons, though the emergence of Francis Coquelin has not seem him feature often in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven.
Wenger dropped Flamini from his match day squad against West Ham on Sunday, as he chose Spaniard Mikel Arteta to start on the bench instead, though Coquelin was the one who started.
The former Milan man wants to stay and see out his contract, though Arsenal are keen on selling him, with Turkish giants Galatasaray and Ligue 1 side Bastia reportedly interested.
