Breaking: Arsenal Send Representatives To Germany To Sign Long Term Target

Premier League giants Arsenal are finally looking to make a move to sign Germany international Lars Bender, as per recent claims. The 26-year old defensive midfielder is currently at Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and has been impressive in recent times. Arsene Wenger’s side are in need of more holding midfield players, though the emergence of Francis Coquelin will have surely helped the cause.

The Gunners have been so heavily linked with Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema that the media have turned all their attention to that nonsense.

However, Italy’s Tuttomercatoweb reported some shocking news which suggested that the north London club’s representative were watching the game this week between Lazio and Bayer Leverkusen at the Stadio Olimpico.

The two European clubs were involved in a Champions League qualifier and an Arsenal representative had made the official guest list, with the club said to be keeping tabs on the midfield superstar.

As nothing has been confirmed yet, it can only be assumed that a host of players from both clubs will be linked with the London outfit, though what happens next remains to be seen.
