Manchester United’s midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to become the first casualty of Mourinho era.
According to Independent, the 31 years old German international is not part of Mourinho’s plan for Manchester Untied and will be shipped out of Old Trafford. According to various reports the player is set to be way down the pecking order at midfield. Manchester United’s new midfield signing (not ye completed), Michael Carrick, Morgan Schneiderlin, Marouane Fellaini all seem to be above Schweinsteiger in the pecking order of midfielder preference. Additionally, Daley Blind was also recently deployed in a holding midfield position and while there are widespread talks of the player leaving, if the Dutchman stays back even he will be above Schweinsteiger on the pecking order.
There have been rumors of interest from Turkey and that may be materialized. The German joined United only last season under a lot of fanfare but has failed to convince the crowd of his capability.
