Arsenal’s Long Term Target Speaks Out On Ongoing Transfer Rumour

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is looking for a reunion with former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. On being asked as to who he would like the Gunners to sign in the summer, Ozil’s reply was that he would love it if Arsenal tried signing Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

Ronaldo is linked with a move to Manchester United, having scored 51 goals in 48 appearances this term for Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Arsenal target Alvaro Morata has spoken regarding his transfer move. The player is one of Arsenal’s top targets this summer, as Arsenal are in the market for a striker to replace Danny Welbeck who is out of action or nine months due to knee injury.

Morata’s transfer involves Real Madrid using their buy-back clause on the player and then sell him off further making a neat profit in the deal.

While so far nothing has come off the deal and the player seems to be frustrated with the situation and wants the situation to be sorted sooner than later.

“Everything I say now will be taken one way or the other,” Morata told Spanish TV show Al Primer Toque on Onda Cero.

“I hope this is all [taken care of] as quickly as possible. Honestly, I’m already tired of the subject of a repurchase or not repurchase.

“I want to stop relying on others and only depend on myself. I hope it ends soon.”
