Sources from London reveals that the Arsenal want to sign Mario Gotze very quick in the transfer window to avoid competitions from other top clubs.
Gotze has already had a brilliant season, impressing in both the Champions League and Bundesliga, taking his side into the last four in Europe’s elite club tournament.
The reason for Arsenal’s urgency is – some latest rumors suggesting that Manchester City are willing to meet Gotze’s release clause of €40million release clause in Summer. If City comes into the picture, Arsenal have noway to compete with them financially.
But Manchester city are already making their move as their sporting director Txiki Begiristain is rumored to have met with the German international’s representatives.
Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of Gotze as he consider him to be a proper replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
Gotze has still has 3 years to serve at Dortmund but would be allowed to leave in Summer if his realease clause is met.
