Ozil was in fine fettle as he controlled Arsenal’s passing in the final thrid. He had some moments of magic which left Palace defenders rooted to their spots. His cross for Giroud’s goal was of a very high quality.
Alexis Sanchez – 8
Alexis was exceptional considering this was his first game of the season. He was involved throughout the game and had some great chances to score goals but that again comes with game time. He’s rediscovering his form.
Olivier Giroud – 8
Giroud delivered when needed. His was an exceptional goal taken extremely well in the time and space he had. He played some sublime first time passes and flicks on the edge of the penalty area.
