Arsenal remains fourth in the Premier League and can thank Everton for their dismal show at Goodison park last night. After seven consecutive matches without a defeat in the league, the Toffees were beaten at home to Crystal Palace (3-2) giving a much needed boost for the Gunners who chase their 17th consecutive year at the top of the English table allowing them to play Champions League football.
With four matches left to play, Arsenal are a point clear of Everton and cannot ill afford to further drop points if they are to hold on to their fourth place. However, Everton have a tough run in the final few fixtures as they face both the Manchester clubs and travel to the St. Mary’s to play Southampton leaving Arsenal a good chance to maintain their 4th spot.
Here are some tweets from the Arsenal fans.

Everton must have been reading the Tottenham Hotspur guide to achieving a 4th place finish…

Thank you, Tony Pulis.

if you concede 3 at home to Palace you do not deserve Champions League football. #Everton

Let's see how Everton handle the pressure now that it's on. It's one thing to chase a spot, quite another to defend it.

Super gassed. Top performance from Pulis and Palace. Valiant effort at a comeback from Everton who still have to play @ManUtd and @MCFC.
