Latest rumors suggest that Arsenal are very closely monitoring Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro. Wenger is believed to be a long-term admirer of the Brazilian’s talent/potential. The gunners are expected to make an official bid when the summer transfer window starts.
The 22 year-old impressed against Borussia Dortmund in the champions league and was later quoted by Marca as saying, “You’ll have to ask Ancelotti why I’m not playing more.”
Casemiro is a holding midfielder with good defensive work-rate, ball distributing skills and has amazing dribbling abilities too. Moving to Arsenal will definitely benefit the midfielder from the Sambaland as he will be working under the guidance of Arsene Wenger, who is known for developing young stars. With Arteta not getting any younger, this Brazilian has all the required attributes to successfully replace the Spaniard in the squad.
Other top clubs like Juventus, Porto, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also interested in his signature.
