Interview with Keisuke Honda’s agent and brother, Hiro Honda said:

“Everything depends on the clubs – and only them. I don’t need to talk with CSKA Moscow again. They already know the situation from the player’s point of view.” “If Milan and CSKA Moscow will meet again?

“This week will be a very, very important week. Milan will meet with CSKA Moscow to negotiate about Keisuke Honda, and there will be news before the weekend.” “Keisuke Honda is calm. We hope that we can bring him to Milan now, but we can only wait and see what happens.”

Honda has taken the central stage in this year’s transfer season and as Milan are finding it difficult to land their long term target. Milan’s latest offer for Keisuke Honda is €3.5m, but CSKA Moscow want around €5m.

Honda has already agreed personal terms with Milan: a 4-year contract worth €1.8m per year. Honda had initially agreed to an annual salary of €2.5m, but decided to lower his salary demands in an attempt to facilitate the transfer to Milan immediately instead of in January. Honda’s contract with CSKA Moscow expires on the 31st of December 2013.

However, when quizzed about about Honda, Milan chief Galliani seemed to be in a relaxed manner, he said:

“We are pretty relaxed when it comes to signing Honda because we cannot sign players who are not for sale and if CSKA Moscow do not want to sell him then we will just have to wait patiently.”
