Liverpool Vs Manchester United Player Ratings

Manchester United won the match in the most undeserving way in the recent months and had it not been so many mistakes from referee M. Halsey, Liverpool could have pulled off a famous victory in tribute to the 96 lives that were lost in the Hillsborough.

Liverpool dint deserve to lose, a draw was fair result for both the teams but Some important  decisions went against Liverpool. Shelvey did not deserve a Red card, Liverpool were undeservedly denied a penalty, that should sum it up.

Lindegaard: Justified his selection ahead of De Gea. Had a good game with two second half saves that kept Reds in hunt 8/10

Rafael: The Brazilian is becoming a decent threat in front of the goal. His second goal of the season and this was one cool and classy 7/10

Ferdinand: As solid as ever. It was a display of poise and stubbornness 8/10

Evans: Received dog’s abuse from the Liverpool fans over the Shelvey red card but never let anything bother him 7 /10

Evra: The French left back is still searching for anything close to his best form and the tricky teenager Sterling added to his struggle 6 /10

Valencia: Was an off day for the winger except for the burst of pace that led to the penalty and the winner 5 /10

Carrick: Found it difficult at times not surprisingly to get his foot on ball and dictate play but not totally over run 6 /10

Giggs: The veteran just about held firm under the Liverpool dominance in midfield 6 /10

Nani: Has not yet hit it off this season and injury to Young gave the Winger another chance which he could not capitalize. Was hardly involved in the game and not surprisingly he was subbed at half time 4 /10

Kagawa: The Japanese midfielder discovered it’s not easy to make impact on these encounters and spent much of time on periphery 5 /10

Van Persie: Liverpool defenders kept the free scoring Dutch at bay for most part of the game but Persie got his chance at the and as he converted a penalty with calm and composure 6 /10
