Following his injury, the Manchester United forward and England International Wayne Rooney could not join his International team mates and remained at Manchester. Meanwhile in a Face book chat with fans, Rooney claimed that his former team Ronaldo is only second best when compared to Messi as he feels the Argentine is spectacular when it comes to making goals for others.
When asked to compare Messi with Ronaldo the Manchester Utd star declared:
Rooney rates Messi higher than his former team mate“The way he plays and makes goals is spectacular. From my point of view, Messi is the best ever.”
This will come as a shock to Ronaldo, who is already in the middle of a turmoil at Madrid as his ex- Man Utd pal rates Messi more than him.
