Lovren To Start – Klopp’s Probable 4-3-3 Line Up For Liverpool vs Swansea

Come match day 7, the Reds will attempt to increase their league win tally to 5 following 3 successive emphatic victories. The visit to the Liberty Stadium could prove tricky given that the hosts are badly in search of their 2nd win of the season, and they would put up a strong fight to get it.

Regardless of whatever plan Francesco Guidolin comes up with, Liverpool remain favourites and here is how Jurgen Klopp could line up his squad for the game.

GK – Karius

The summer recruitment looks to have reclaimed his starting spot after missing the beginning of the season through an injury. His speed, anticipation level and ability to help the team play higher up the pitch definitely suit Klopp’s style.

LB – Milner

The veteran left winger is adapting well to his new position at left back, and his perfect conversion record from the spot this season means he also comes very handy in such situations. Moreno could, however, make a later entrance in the game if victory is wrapped up early.

CB – Matip

The Cameroonian international has been a solid rock at the back for the Reds, and already looks like the permanent solution to their defensive woes of last term. He is sure to get a starting berth against Swansea.

CB – Lovren

Dejan Lovren

Kalavan played alongside Matip last weekend, and despite putting up an impressive performance, he could be making way for Lovren who has regained full fitness after suffering from a viral infection weeks ago. The Lovren-Matip partnership in the heart of the Merseysiders defence has been outstanding.

RB – Clyne

Nobody in the Liverpool squad has been able to give the England international a run for his money at right back, and he definitely is starting against the Swans. His attacking abilities have always proved useful in contributing to the Reds attacking verve in the final third.

AML – Lallana

Adam is getting better with every other game this season and has already bagged 3 goals in the league. He has forged a great partnership and understanding with the attackers and remains a match-winner due to his abilities to either create a chance or pop up a surprise goal.

DM – Henderson

No player has played more successful passes than the side’s skipper this season, and he sure has found a perfect position for himself despite his unparalleled versatility. Liverpool’s number 6 (or number 4 depending on how you name your defensive midfielder) will play an important role against a Swansea side that has a lot of quality in midfield.

AMR – Wijnaldum

The Dutch international has continually proven to be a massive coup for Klopp since his summer arrival and already fits into the team’s style of play. His tirelessness and work rate will cause all sorts of problem for the Swans no doubt.

Coutinho

LW – Coutinho

The best player in the club’s ranks remains one of the most lethal attacking threats in the world, and he can be counted upon to help put Swansea to the sword in what could be a tough encounter.

RW – Mane

Sadio remains Southampton’s biggest loss over the course of the off-season, and that has been Liverpool’s biggest gain thus far. Swansea defenders will have a busy day trying to contain the dribbling beast all game long.

CF – Firmino

If Sturridge will ever find his way back to Liverpool’s starting XI is a story for another day, but at the moment, Firmino hasn’t put a wrong foot forward in that striking role and should line up against Swansea.
