It’s hard to figure why he did this at all, or why did he turn his hair yellow after he left Borussia Dortmund, where it could be a better fit.

Arturo Vidal

A fellow companion from the first guy on this list also earns a spot here. The Chilean is as polemic as talented, but sometimes most of the attention he gets is not because of what he does on the field but off it. Vidal didn’t change his hairstyle during the course of this year, but whatever the hell this guy has on his hair is just a disastrous mess and should be stopped.

Paul Pogba

Pogba was strongly criticised during the start of the season with Manchester United, as this guy seemed way more worried about his looks (and more specifically) his hairstyles than his quality of play. The Frenchman got a new haircut every week and it was just a big disaster after another. We hope he matures and focuses on the important things, as he’s one of the most talented players in the world right now despite his youth.

This Brazilian star has never been afraid to do something dramatic with his hair, featuring a Mohawk during his Santos stint that was completely ridiculous. Now, he joined the hair bleaching fashion and it’s one of the most terrible things we saw during the year. Just awful.

Lionel Messi

We can’t overlook what one of the greatest players in history just did to his image. Messi seems like he’s having a mid-life crisis after all those losses at the finals with Argentina, growing a strange red beard, tattooing himself and bleaching his hair, shocking his fans and earning the top spot on our list.
