5 Players to Have in Your Fantasy Premier League Team Featuring Manchester United and Arsenal Stars

Share

All eyes will be at the King Power stadium as table topping, yes, table-topping Leicester, I will repeat it again, Leicester will take on second-placed Manchester United. Leicester have had a glorious run this year and could well do one over United, something they managed last season when they defeated the Red Devils 5-3 in this fixture.

One player who has been central to Leicester’s run is Jamie Vardy who scored in his 10th consecutive game last tie around against Newcastle. Vardy can break ex-United player Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record if he scores against the Red Devils and who would bet against him from doing it? With Vardy bagging a bunch of points in the Fantasy Premier League, we provide a list of players who should be in your team this weekend.

Jamie Vardy

Can we start anywhere else? The Premier League’s top scorer could well make history on Saturday but playing against the meanest defence in the league will not be easy. Vardy though will be unfazed as he tries to break the record of scoring in the most consecutive games in the Premier League and he would be ably helped by Mahrez and company. Vardy is one of the hottest strikers at the moment and he should be part of your team.

Romelu Lukaku

Another striker who seems to have found his scoring ability is Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has scored four times and provided a couple of assists in the last three game weeks and could well be scoring a few more when Everton play against Bournemouth, who have the worst defence in the league. Lukaku and Barkley are two players who should be in your team but Lukaku just shades it ahead of the midfielder.

David de Gea

David de gea

The Spanish goalkeeper has been doing his best to keep teams at bay, sure Manchester United might not be scoring goals but they aren’t conceding them either and nothing would please Louis van Gaal more than watching a 0-0 draw or a 1-0 win for Manchester United thanks to a scruffy goal. Oh, don’t worry about the game being a dull one, Leicester’s matches have featured more than 3 goals per game but even United can neutralise that, can’t they?

Harry Kane

Harry Kane

Harry Kane is back and his goal against Qarabag was his ninth in six appearances and with Tottenham playing against struggling Chelsea, Kane could well be amongst the goals once again. The Englishman seems to be firing on all cylinders at the right time and that can only mean good news for Spurs fans.

Mesut Ozil

Mesut Ozil

While Spurs fans will be thinking about Kane scoring goals and giving them some valuable Fantasy Premier League points, Mesut Ozil has been like a helper in school, always assisting and setting up goals. The German is finally playing to his price tag and proving a lot of his critics wrong, it will be interesting to see just how he performs against a high pressing Tottenham side but he could be the difference between a win and a loss.
