3 Reasons Why Signing Adam Lallana Is A Top Notch Deal For Liverpool

Share

Liverpool have made the signing of Adam Lallana official and the player has posed with the jersey of his new club, looking delighted. Lallana will join a host of his english team members, with whom he spent the sumer in Brazil, althogh that was cut short with England’s early exit. This will be a particularly happy transfer for Rodgers as it will finally end the elusive chase of a playmaker, after he failed to sign one in last year’s window and in the January window.

This will help Liverpool to strengthen the midfield and challenge for that Premier League trophy once more, after they came so close last season. Liverpool will also hope that now they will be able to give their attention to other areas in the squad and get a couple of more players. But the question would still remain that is Lallana the player that Liverpool could trust upon? We provide three reasons why we think that Lallana to Liverpool is a good move for the club.

Adam Lallana

1. A Different dynamics

Last season Liverpool’s plans were pretty simple, hit them hard and fast. The Arsenal match was the biggest example when the Gunners were torn down by Liverpool in the first twenty minutes of the game. But as effective that strategy was for the Kops last season, this time the teams would certainly get themselves prepared before coming to Anfield as Mourinho did with his Chelsea side. Lallana would provide Liverpool with a different dynamics as his gameplay has shown till now. He would help the team to make the play slow and penetrate more with his creativity and passes. Liverpool desperately needed a player like Lallana in some matches last season and now they have got one.

2. The English core

Liverpool have players in plenty in the England national team and the core team is practically formed by Liverpool players. Lallana would be another addition to that list which already comprises of Gerrard, Johnson, Sterling, Henderson and Sturridge. Lallana would also have Lambert joining him at anfield, with whom he spent time at Southampton. All this will make his transition easier and get him adjusted to the club in no time. This in turn, will also help the Liverpool side and the England football team and make them play as a compact unit.

3. The high point of his career

Liverpool have managed to sign a player who is at the peak of his career and would not take time to develop. He would be able to contribute for the team from the very beginning and being 26, he would be in capacity to do so for a number of years. This would be a good news for the Liverpool fans, who have had to deal with prospects this far and very rarely players who have already reached the zenith of their careers. Lallana would be a new example to say the least.
