2. Worst moment
In a season that was filled with so many bad displays, to pick one out of the lot was probably the most difficult job. The worst moment was perhaps the 2-2 draw with Fulham because that game was an indication of everything that was wrong with United.
After going a goal down early in the game, the Red Devils somehow managed to find their powers of resilience and lead 2-1 going into the final 10 minutes. Instead of seeing the game through or adding another, United conceded in stoppage time to draw the game. The result, coupled with the fact that United put in 81 crosses, easily the most by any team in Premier League showed the aimless nature of United’s play and season.
