Three Managers Who Could Do A Great Job As Tottenham Manager If Pochettino Leaves To Join Real Madrid

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. With Los Blancos currently performing the way that they are performing, they are definitely going to make wholesale changes to their side at the end of the season and replacing Zinedine Zidane as manager could be one such change that they might make.

Pochettino is reported to be one of the targets that the Spanish giants could pursue at the end of the season should they part ways with Pochettino.

Pochettino has established himself as one of the most in-demand managers in world football. Since taking over as Spurs manager in 2014, the North London club have transformed from a modest outfit to one that can regularly challenge for major trophies.

Should Spurs lose the Argentine, it would be a bitter pill to swallow. However here are some managers who could do a good job if given the opportunity to succeed the Argentine.

Marco Silva

At just 40 years of age, Silva is regarded as one of the best up and coming managers in the Premier League. He was a top target for Everton earlier on during the season when the Toffees ended up sacking Ronald Koeman. However, he remained put at Watford after the Hornets refused to part ways with their manager.

Silva built his reputation with Estoril in Portugal. He replaced Eutropio as the manager of the club while they were 10th in the second tier, and inspired a dramatic upturn in the club’s fortunes as they lost just three of his first 24 matches in charge.

He ended up taking Estoril up to the top flight for the first time in several years and they performed impressively as they ended up finishing 5th in the top division and qualified for the Europa League for the first time in history.

Sean Dyche

Dyche has done an impressive job with Burnley this season as they currently sit at 8th place in the Premier League standings. He was also one of the candidates who was in line to succeed Koeman at Everton earlier in the season. Dyche has also taken the Clarets from the Championship to the Premier League and has been in charge of the club for the past six years, which is certainly impressive by the standards of modern-day football.

Carlo Ancelotti

Ancelotti is currently unemployed after parting ways with Bayern Munich earlier on during the season. He is perhaps one of the best-known and most highly rated managers in the game alongside the likes of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.

It does, however, remain to be seen if the Italian will be willing to join a team such as Spurs or if he will only be willing to join a club that can offer him a massive transfer budget.
