3 Left Wingers Who Would Convert This Arsenal Side As Serious Title Contenders

Andre Ayew

Much of the Ligue 1 focus is directed at the free-spending duo of PSG and Monaco, but it was Marseille who topped the table for the early part of the season, before losing their fourth fixture, and subsequently first place, to Monaco. Ayew has been a remarkably consistent performer since joining the French outfit in 2010, scoring 42 goals and providing 13 assists in 139 matches. He isn’t the playmaker that others on this list are, but Ayew is a bonafide goal threat, who, alongside Dimitri Payet, Mathieu Valbuena and Andre-Pierre Gignac, make Marseille legitimate title contenders. Ayew’s pace and eye for goal would add more to the Arsenal front line and could see him become the world star he is seemingly destined to be. Also deployed as a striker, versatility can be the most important string to a player’s bow. (Stats taken from ESPNfc)
