Zidane to make 3 changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Real Madrid lineup to face Real Betis

Predicted Real Madrid Lineup To Face Real Betis In La Liga

Real Madrid travel to the Estadio Benito Villamarín on the 25th Match Day of La Liga as they seek a lift on the league ladder, after having beaten PSG in the UCL. Los Blancos will know that a win against Real Betis could take them to 3rd place if Valencia drop points. The home side though, will fancy their chances in this one due to their rich recent form.

While Real Betis are searching for their best ever league finish, the Galacticos are looking to avoid their worst finish to a season since 2003-04. They have been clinical in front of goal but have conceded 1.4 goals per game on an average in their previous 10 matches. This will be a contest between two sides which have recently endured confidence.

Team News

Toni Kroos picked up an unfortunate injury against PSG and hence, will miss this game. Dani Carvajal will end his ban and return to the starting line-up.

Gareth Bale could be given a start as Benzema struggled to make an impact last time out. Jesus Vallejo remains a long-term absentee.

Probable Real Madrid XI

Zidane might plot a 4-4-2 set-up with a forced change and a couple of additions and subtractions in the midfield and the attack. They will go with the same flow, allow Ronaldo to enter into striking positions and aim to capitalise on the confidence boost they experienced in midweek.

Manager: Zinedine Zidane

Formation: 4-4-2

GK: Keylor Navas

Keylor Navas should start in goal for Real Madrid. He has improved in recent weeks.

RB: Dani Carvajal

Carvajal had a forced rest and will come into this game full of energy. He is an excellent defender who blocks channels down his flank and defends professionally.

CB: Nacho

The strong and versatile Nacho should start at centre-back alongside Ramos.

Marcelo

CB: Sergio Ramos

Ramos will accompany Nacho. He is a direct set-piece threat and is quick to deflate any given attack.

LB: Marcelo

The dynamic and electric left-back will start. He put up an impressive show against PSG and could crush the opposition’s hopes if he matches that sort of levels.

RM: Lucas Vazquez

The exciting right-winger should feature in this game. He is explosive and intelligent.

CM: Luka Modric

Modric will play through the middle, dictate the proceedings and shepherd his teammates. His defensive work rate is commendable.

Cristiano Ronaldo

CM: Casemiro

Casemiro will play as the defensive midfielder. He is tactically so important for Real Madrid and is a sure starter.

LM: Marco Asensio

Asensio should occupy the left flank after that important, energetic substitute appearance in the Champions League.

ST: Cristiano Ronaldo

After scoring a brace against PSG, Ronaldo will surely lead the line here. Apart from his menacing pace and skill, he is a fox in the box and is one of the greatest footballers ever.

ST: Gareth Bale

Benzema was ineffective in midweek and he will mostly give way to the pacy Gareth Bale. Bale is one of the best finishers and will be hoping to put aside his inconsistent form.
