Zidane to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-3-1-2 Real Madrid line-up to face Bayern Munich

Predicted Real Madrid Line-up To Face Bayern Munich In Champions League Semi-finals

Real Madrid will take on German champions Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Galacticos survived a scare against Juventus in the previous round, losing 3-1 in the second leg but winning 4-3 on aggregate to make it to the last-four of the competition and will be hoping to beat Jupp Heynckes’ men as they look to take a step closer towards successfully retaining their Champions League trophy for a second time in a row.

Probable Real Madrid XI

Manager: Zinedine Zidane

Formation: 4-3-1-2

Keylor Navas (GK)

The Costa Rican shot-stopper did not have the best of games against Juventus last time out. Will want to improve his performance.

Dani Carvajal (RB)

The academy graduate will be key for Madrid. How he copes with the threat of Franck Ribery on the wing while also helping out in the attack will be interesting to watch.

Raphael Varane (CB)

The France international has been slightly inconsistent this season and cannot afford to slip up at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Marcelo

Sergio Ramos (CB)

Often prone to the red mist, captain Sergio Ramos needs to iron out the reckless side of his game against the dangerous Robert Lewandowski.

Marcelo (LB)

The Brazilian will have a huge task at his hands, keeping the dangerous Arjen Robben quiet on the right flank.

Luka Modric (CM)

Often the connecting link between the two halves of the pitch for Madrid, the Croatian international will need to be at the top of his game on Wednesday.

Luka Modric

Casemiro (CDM)

At the base of Madrid’s diamond midfield will be the enforcer, Casemiro. Will be tasked with keeping Bayern’s midfield runners in check while covering his backline.

Toni Kroos (CM)

Going up against his former team, the German international will be keen on putting on a solid showing in the middle of the park.

Isco (CAM)

At the tip of the diamond should be Spanish playmaker Isco. Has blown hot and cold on occasions this term but has the quality to make the difference for Real.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Karim Benzema (ST)

The French international is going through a torrid spell in front of goal but his all-round support play at the top means he is likely to start ahead of Gareth Bale on Wednesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST)

Real’s biggest asset going forward, Ronaldo scored a hat-trick against Bayern last season in the UCL and was their hero in the two legs against Juve in the quarter-finals stage this season.
