Ricardo Rodriguez is reported to bee the subject of a tug-o-war between English giant Manchester United and Spanish giant Real Madrid. It was reported in SportBild, a German sports magazine, that both Real and United are interested in the signature of the Swiss international.
Given that Luke Shaw is injured with a broken leg and Rojo out with shoulder surgery, it’s only natural that United will be looking to fill the left-back position desperately. That is the one position where United currently do not have a natural player with the likes of Blind and Darmian acting as a make-shift player.
The news report also factored in the obstacles, specially considering Luke Shaw is a highly rate teenager, loved by the media and the fans and will be a natural choice in the starting eleven. If Ricardo Rodriguez were to arrive at United it will probably hamper Shaw’s development and the club will try to avoid it. Even then United’s need for a left-back is clear and it may very well be possible that a left-back arrives in this transfer window.
