Twitter Reactions From Manchester United Fans
Manchester United hosted their domestic rivals City at Old Trafford on Sunday in a top of the table clash. The game was expected to be a hard-fought, high-quality encounter with lots of goals though it turned out quite the opposite than most of the fans’ expectations. A flat and lifeless goalless draw was what they got, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side went back to the top of the table and United once again ended the evening on fourth. There was not a shot at goal until the 82 minute and the fans must have gone totally berserk watching the game.
It might have been a result that the Red Devils would not mind, as manager Louis van Gaal had claimed City to be the favourites in this contest prior to the game, based on current goal-scoring form.
