Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has reached a height of stardom as he turns into football’s one of the best players. Known for his pace, power, skill and exquisite technique the player has been improving and developing his form and game since he entered Juventus in 2012. The Frenchman is on high demand amongst the top football clubs incuding Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
In an interview with La Repubblica, the 23 year old player has discussed the reasons that make him what he is today. Pogba stated that reducing his mistake and growing has always been his main focus and being his own worst critic he does have a lot of anger that he turns towards reducing the mistakes while he plays.
“I’d like to surpass Lampard,” he said, per Football Italia. “I want to be the midfielder who can do everything, and at the highest levels. Shooting, dribbling, scoring, defending. I want to be like Lampard, but better.”- Paul Pogba
The player further noted Chelsea’s legendary midfielder Frank Lampard as someone he would like to become in the world of football and better. He would like to emulate the player and become even better in his game.
