However, we have recently received a massive hint from Adidas and Paul Pogba himself about the deal taking place. Adidas recently launched an advertisement in which Paul Pogba has asked the watchers to “Not believe everything you read in the papers” and the video was captioned with the message “Ignore the blah, blah, blah”.
Why is that important? Well, a few days back Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent tweeted “There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of blah bla bla”. The video caption is clearly a reference to Raiola’s statement that was made a week ago.
Pogba has featured in Adidas videos earlier but this was the first time the superstar has taken to media speculation. United are expected to complete Pogba signing in the coming week and this advert just fueled the hopes of the fans.
