Manchester United are reportedly edging close to complete the signing of Paul Pogba according to AS. The Red Devils are firm favorites to sign Pogba after Real Madrid decided to drop out of the deal.
Now the Independent has reported that Juventus is also interested in signing Juan Mata, who may be allowed to leave. The Spaniard joined United three seasons ago and is clearly one of the favorite player as per the fans. However given that his style does not really suit that of Mourinho it is not too difficult to imagine him leaving in the summer.
Pogba’s transfer will demand a whooping £100 million fee and United and Juventus may work things out by throwing in Juan Mata into the mix. According to the report, the personal terms between the player and club is already agreed upon and only the transfer fee needs to be settled between the club. It’s not like everyday you get an offer of £100 million.
The 28-year-old has scored 26 goals in 104 games for the club.
