Manchester United have been looking to sign West Ham defender/midfielder Reece Oxford for some time now. The player caught attention from many clubs after a spectacular season at the Hammers with both Manchester Clubs and Arsenal looking out for his signature.

Reports suggest that the player has rejected an offer of a new deal at West Ham and thus may be open for transfer, however, he also deflected any news of a move out of the club through his twitter account stating: “Wow rumors will be rumors!” 

The player is considered to be one of the most promising youngsters coming from the West Ham academy after Rio Ferdinand.

According to the reports from Sky Sports, West Ham will let Oxford go only if the bid offered for him is north of £10m. As such his current deal with the Hammers is set to expire in 2017.
