Premier League giants Manchester United are at present negotiating a deal with Italian club Lazio to bring Felipe Anderson to Old Trafford in the January transfer window, as per reports. The Brazilian attacker was being heavily linked with United this summer, after he an impressive 18 months with the Serie A side.
Though a deal did not happen in the previous transfer window, Spanish outlet Fichajes have now claimed that Louis van Gaal’s side will now try to push a move through. The report further adds that though Lazio are not keen on selling their prized possession, who signed a long-term contract with them, the Premier League giants are desperate and will still make a bid.
At present, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder is priced at around £14m by TransferMarkt, which will not really be a problem for the English giants. Van Gaal feels the need to add more attacking options soon and will look to bring in Anderson to strengthen his squad.
