After an abysmal season, Manchester United will be looking to strengthen their squad in the coming transfer window.
Recent reports suggest that Manchester United has started to chase Benfica’s defender Victor Lindelof and has submitted an offer of around £20.5m. The 21-year-old had a great season with the Portuguese side, and that has attracted many clubs.
Victor Lindelof’s is in the contract with Benfica that runs until 2020, and he has a €30m (£23m) release clause.
Manchester United have struggled the entire season, but the side was little stable defensively. Daley Blind played almost the entire season as a center back, and the team will be looking to release the Dutch from his misery by signing a perfect center back.
