Leonardo Bonucci is set to sign a new contract at Juventus. The Italian defender is a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea.
To ward off interest from the top Premier League clubs Juventus are now set to offer a new contract to the player extending his stay at the Old Lady till 2021. The Italian club is set to offer a new five-year contract to the player which will see him earn an increased wage of €5m.
Bonucci’s agent Alessandro Lucci has already held discussions with Juventus CEO Beppe Morata regarding the same. The player has had an excellent spell at the Bianconeri having won five Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia’s during his time at Juventus since joining the club in 2010.
The player was in exceptional form during the European Championship for Italy this past summer under the former Juventus and Italy manager Antonio Conte. His excellent displays have attracted interests from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
