Liverpool are looking out to sign Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi with Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure heading towards the exit door and Moumadou Sakho facing a potential transfer ban.
Mustafi made 42 appearances this season and has been on Liverpool’s target list for the summer transfers. Reports from SuperDeporte, suggests that Liverpool officials will be travelling to Valencia to start talks for the deal.
Mustafi signed for Everton in 2009, however, he didn’t get many chances to play and thus was sold to Sampdoria in 2012 from there he moved to Valencia in 2014 after helping Germany win the World cup.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to make drastic changes into the Reds this summer as the manager looks to create a team that may be the challengers to the title next season. Although many of the player’s in Liverpool target list are from the German league, Klopp insists that he is not solely looking to sign the German players for the Reds in the summer.
