This season for Liverpool consisted of many ups and downs under German manager Jurgen Klopp. While the manager is looking out for players to add in the summer, he has been advised by a former Reds that he should add a player each in order to cover the entire pitch.
Reports from Goal suggest that Arne Riise former Liverpool left-back has advised the manager that he needs to add four players this season which include a goalkeeper, a centre-back, a central midfielder and a centre-forward. The main reason for such a change will be to enable the Reds to challenge in the Premier League next season with a new and well-formed team.
“I think that the central lines in every department have to be changed. I think we need a goalkeeper, a real leader at centre-back, a central midfielder and also a centre-forward,”-Riise
While Liverpool currently have most of the players they need, it is easy to see that they spend most of their time in the sidelines, rather than playing some serious game.
