Arsene Wenger is all ready to add some more players to his team and if reports are to be believed one very likely candidate is the young defender Rugani from Juventus. Last year he spent on loan at Empoli and was impressive. He was voted the best Serie A defender. But this year he seems to be struggling to find a starting place and regular football in Juventus, his parent club.
The defenders pool in Juventus is dominated by the likes of Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini to name a few. Rugani may be lacking in experience compared to these names but Juventus has not made any attempt to send him out on loan this season. Allegri however has mentioned that he will be given a chance to prove his mettle soon.
Tuttosport reported on Tuesday that Arsene Wenger is looking to get this player “at all cost” and he is well experienced in developing young players. However the mention of the phrase “at all cost” does not sound very Wenger.
