Real Madrid’s star striker Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Jose Mourinho is the right man, who could help the team to come to the right track. The Portuguese manager is all set to take the reigns of the Old Trafford club following Louis van Gaal’s sacking by the Red Devils after lifting the FA Cup trophy.
The former Manchester United star has backed his fellow countrymen and thinks that Mourinho is the right man for United’s job and he can bring quick success to Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who played under Jose Mourinho during his spell at Real Madrid said:
‘He’s already signed, hasn’t he?
‘I think it’s good. If it’s something United wanted I think it’s good.
‘I hope Manchester United get back to being where they were because it’s an impressive club, but in the last years they lacked an identity a bit.
‘And it hurts me seeing United like that because it’s a club I carry in my heart.
‘I wish Mourinho can restore them back to the top.’
