Chelsea has been looking to sign Columbian player Carlos Bacca this winter. Bacca currently plays for Italian club AC Milan as a striker. Italy’s Cacliomerato has summed up the entire situation pretty well.
Apparently Chelsea is willing to put the bid of about €40million for the transfer in the winter. This, however, is €10 million more than the amount Blues bosses would have paid for the player if they had bought the player directly from Seville.
While Cacliomerato suggests that AC Milan is not interested in selling the player, when an amount of €40million is involved in the picture, Milan may go ahead with the transfer.
Chelsea’s interest in the 29 year old Bacca is tough to digest, and as such the club will have better players to spend €40million on. The Columbian has not been in a ‘sparkly’ form this season with just 8 league goals so far and his last goal being against Lazio on November first.
