Chelsea are preparing to place bid for Euro 2016 winner Joao Mario. According the Express, the Blues have already spoken to the agent and the intermediaries and a bid of £34 million is said to be on the way.
Joao mario, has been one of the standout performers for the Portugal national team as they clinched the Euro 2016 trophy by defeating host nation France at the final. Chelsea scouts seemed to have noticed it and are planning to swoop for the player as a result. The reported bid amount is a little surprising given that the release clause of Mario is £50 million. The agent oversee Joao Mario’s affairs and is also the agent for David Luiz, Oscar, Willian and Ramires. He has been a key part of these players arriving at Chelsea and may make the deal happen even at a lesser price.
