Chelsea finished 10th last season and Antonio Conte is not looking to repeat the same dubious achievement this season. Of course in order to improve and fight for the title, the Blues will need to keep hold of their stars.
The good news from DailyStar is that one of the Blues’ most wanted striker, Diego Costa, is not going to push for transfer out of the club. There are reported interest from Atletico Madrid, his former club, for him but in spite of being aware of the interest and the lure of Champions League football, the Spain international is ready to stay back at Stamford Bridge.
Atletico Madrid are said to be determined to sign Costa and are reportedly still hoping to sign him from Chelsea. Given that Chelsea are also chasing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, if that deal takes place, Atletico are hopeful of signing Diego Costa from Chelsea.
