As per reports, bookies have now slashed the odds on Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro completing a switch to the club’s London rivals Arsenal. Carneiro was being linked with a move to the Emirates, following a similar path to former Blues’ keeper Petr Cech, after a public spat with manager Jose Mourinho. She has been suspended from the club at the moment and could be considering a move away from Stamford Bridge.
With the Gunners presently struggling with a number of injuries to some key players like Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere, bookmakers Betway have now cut odds on Carneiro moving to north London from 25/1 to 16/1.
Recently speaking in an interview, Betway’s Alan Alger stated, “Eva Carneiro looks to be on her way out of the Bridge and, with Arsene Wenger having given his backing to the doctor earlier in August, we think Arsenal would welcome her services.”
Apart from the Premier League outfit, Russian club Zenit St Petersburg also seem to be the favourites to sign the 41-year-old, with Betway placing their odds at 10/1.
