Arsenal is looking out to add Napoli player Jorginho into their squad. Few months back when asked about Arsenal’s interest on Jorginho, the player’s agent seem to be unaware of any such development, however, he was not surprised that big clubs are interested in the player.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal recent put up a bid for the player which was rejected by Napoli. The Serie A club has asked Arsenal to come back with another bid in the summer.
Napoli currently is in the top of Serie A, with Juventus giving tough competition to the club, Napoli are not willing to let go of one of their key payers mid-season. The Italian club will be willing to do business in the summer and may consider an offer for Jorginho.
This situation may be suitable for Arsenal as the club is looking to sign the player in the summer, however, Arsene Wenger will have to keep tab on the player for few more months.
