According to recent claims, it is being suggested that north London side Arsenal are now seriously considering their options to strengthen their squad and will launch a bid to sign Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze and Schalke winger Julian Draxler. Manager Arsene Wenger has been fairly quiet in the current transfer window and has just added Chelsea’s Petr Cech, as the only big name, to his squad till now.
The Gunners are still looking to reinforce their current squad and have identified attackers Gotze and Draxler as potential signings with Wenger looking to win more titles this season, according to reports in Italy.
The pair helped Germany lift the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil and were being monitored by Serie A champions Juventus in recent times, though with the amount of funds needed to sponsor the deals, a move to the Emirates seems more likely.
Wenger is a huge admirer of the 23-year old Gotze who became a hero as he scored the winning goal in the World Cup final, while 21-year-old Draxler is also wanted by several big European clubs.
