Arsenal Transfer Updates
According to a report from Express Sport, it has now been confirmed that Premier League giants Arsenal are all set to compete with their league rivals Manchester City in the January transfer window, in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco. It is believed that manager Arsene Wenger has already opened talks with the La Liga outfit over a potential deal and will pay a price of around £22m to bring the Spanish international to the Emirates.
The 23-year-old Spanish international joined Los Blancos from their Spanish rivals Malaga in 2013 and has since then made 69 appearances scoring 12 times. He is a highly talented attacking midfielder, who is now wanted by a host of big European clubs, with the English duo looking to add him to his squad.
The Gunners did not buy a single outfield player this summer and might look to add more attacking options to their squad, though it is not clear yet whether the Spaniard will want to leave the Bernabeu or not.
