Wow! Arsenal Set To Launch A €30m Bid For Striker (Not Morata)

After completing Granit Xhaka’s signing, it is reported that Arsene Wenger has now shifted his focus on Sporting Lisbon’s midfielder Islam Slimani.

Slimani is an Algerian professional who plays as a striker as well as an attacking midfielder. Premier League will be a bang next season as many top class manager will be arriving in the league, and it is reported that Wenger is looking for an attacking midfielder in order to compete for the title next season.

Arsenal will be battling with Tottenham and Leicester in order to sign the player. Slimani has a buyout clause of €30million, and hence, the Gunners will have to pay a little more than that.

Sporting head coach Jorge Jesus said: “I would like for Slimani to stay. This area is for the president. The coach also has a say, and [the Sporting president] knows my opinion.

“At present, 30 million for a player like Slimani is nothing.”
