Arsenal’s key player Mesut Ozil may not stay at the Emirates Stadium post the summer transfers. The midfielder has been a key asset for the Gunners this season with 18 assists and 5 goals in 28 premier league appearances this season.
The German player is desperate to leave the London club and monitoring the entire situation, Barcelona believes that the player can be lured back into Spain, where he earlier played for Real Madrid. Ozil has openly called upon manager Arsene Wenger to strengthen the squad for next season this summer and if the earlier reports are to be considered the player is not satisfied with the Gunner’s performance and the results so far.
Arsenal is popular for selling their best players to Barcelona in recent years having sold players like that of Aleksander Hleb, Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit, Alex Song, Thomas Vermaelen, Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas to the Catalan giants, and this time around history may end up repeating.
