Few weeks back Hector Bellerin, who grew up at La Masia, was being talked about by media regarding a potential switch to Barcelona. Looks like in a similar fashion, Arsenal are now attempting a counter attack.
Metro has suggested that the Gunners are weighing up a move for Barcelona attacker Arda Turan this summer. The 29 year old had joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid but has seen a very limited game time and is considering a move away from La Liga. Fenerbahce is already interested in Turan and has contacted Barcelona about a possible move.
The report is a little surprising as Arsenal has plenty of midfielders and would probably not need another midfield signing but rather a striker or a defender to be signed. If Arsene Wenger is thinking of getting a midfielder to compensate for losing out on Jamie Vardy, we do not need to be a football pundit to say that it will be a wrong move.
