[Image] Predicted 3-4-3 Wolves XI to face Sheffield – Can Nuno’s men get an important win?

Wolves vs Sheffield United Prediction: Wolves line-up

An in-form Wolverhampton Wanderers host this year’s Premier League newcomers Sheffield United at the Molineux Stadium, on Sunday.

An eight-game unbeaten run has witnessed Nuno Espirito Santo’s side move up to fifth in the table. However, Chris Wilder’s Sheffield are close behind, in sixth place.

Wolves, who are in top form right now, will be aiming for a third consecutive victory when they meet the Blades on weekend.

Sheffield, meanwhile, would also be entering the game high on confidence, after holding Manchester United to 3-3 draw, in their last league game.

The Blades themselves have not lost their last six games, however, they would be eager to register a victory over Wolves.

Team news

Defender Romain Saiss, who accumulated five yellow cards in the league, has been suspended and will sit out against the Blades.

Wolves key man in defence, Willy Bolly is not expected to make it to the squad at least until next year, as he recovers from an ankle injury he sustained last month.

Meanwhile, Nuno would be hoping that young midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White and defender Ryan Bennett, who have lower back and groin injuries respectively, are fit ahead of the weekend clash.

Predicted Wolves XI

Formation: 3-4-3

Rui Patricio (GK)

The Portuguese is one of the first names in Nuno’s Wolves squad. An experienced custodian, Patricio has 3 clean sheets this season.

Leander Dendoncker (RCB)

The Belgian has looked comfortable throughout the season, and has arguably been the best in Wolves’ defensive trio since Boly’s injury.

Conor Coady (CB)

A regular in the side, the Wolves skipper has led from the front and would once again be aiming to discharge his duties proficiently.

Max Kilman (LCB)

He has not featured in a single league game so far. However, with Bennett remaining doubtful, and Saiss suspended, Kilman could finally get the nod.

Matt Doherty (RWB)

The Irishman has been Nuno’s preferred player on the right. The full-back has become one of Wolves’ key players this season.

Ruben Neves (CM)

A regular, and arguably Wolves’ key player in the middle, Neves has a dangerous right foot and can score stunners from outside the box.

Joao Moutinho (CM)

Age seems to have no effect on the veteran playmaker, who is 33 now. He offers Wolves the much-needed creativity in the final third.

Jonny Otto Castro (LWB)

The Spaniard has been consistent for some time now, and would once again be Nuno’s first choice on the left flank against Sheffield.

Adama Traore (RW)

The lightning-quick Traore has been Wolves’ main threat on the wings. The sturdy winger has contributed with two goals and three assists so far.

Raul Jimenez (ST)

Wolves’ man in form this season, the Mexican finisher has been prolific in front of goal and is their top-scorer in the league, with 6 goals to his credit.

The Portuguese winger has not yet hit his best form. However, the youngster has often contributed to the team with his decent displays.
